Performance Task
Task 1: Students design, build, and test and erosion-resistant landscape and home site based on evidence collected and understanding of erosion developed through the unit.
Task 2: Students are given a scenario for an upcoming home construction near a river bend. Based on evidence noted during the unit and investigations conducted, students will write an opinion essay, making recommendations for landscape features to include, erosion prevention measures, and home-site selection.
